We’re excited to announce that one of the most hyped new artists of 2017, Shane P., has signed with Smoothspin Records. The Chicago-based singer/songwriter has also shared with us his debut new single Shark Fin Soup. The song was written and recorded in San Francisco over the course of three long hours with producer James Carnes of What Up Mang. The nearly three minute ‘dad rock’ song chronicles Shane’s single day business trip to the city by the bay as well as his return flight to Chicago the following day, which had not even taken place yet when the song was composed. Shane is currently working on a handful of new tunes to share with us in the near future. If you’re an instant fan, which it would be hard not to be, please add Shark Fin Soup to your Spotify playlists and share with a friend.
