Smoothspin.com sent a crew out to Oakland this weekend to rub elbows in the mosh pit at the 6th annual Burger Boogaloo. The two-day music festival, organized by Southern California’s Burger Records, descends each year upon the city’s tiny Mosswood Park. This year was hosted by legendary filmmaker and Prince of Puke, John Waters. We caught the Sunday show with headliners Black Lips, King Khan & BBQ Show, and Jonathan Richman. All were magnificant. Watch and learn.
Update: Our good friend Kevin Shea Adams filed a beautiful visual recap of Burger Boogaloo for Vice Noisey Day 1 here and Day 2 here, as well as this bold report: The People at Burger Googaloo Actually Looked Good
